I begin my work with a series of photographs which are developed through drawing, painting and collage to produce more abstract images. I use a variety of techniques to interpret colour, texture, pattern and the marks made in my drawings.
This body of work has primarily been inspired by the landscape - both close to home and unfamiliar, the detail and the enormity of the landscape.
